About the role

In this role, you will join a team responsible for delivering enhancements and new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. You will participate in discussions and reviews with technical leads and architects to support solution design. You will help develop solutions that support automation, workflow optimization, and service management needs, and will contribute to the development of roadmaps and architecture documentation.

This position requires someone who can support the buildout of ServiceNow features across multiple areas of the platform and who can participate in solutioning activities in a fast-paced environment. You will help troubleshoot issues, support remediation activities, and contribute to the implementation of enhancements as needed.

This position is fully onsite at the client campus in Woodlawn, MD.

Responsibilities

- Support the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow capabilities. - Participate in solution and integration design discussions with technical leads and architects. - Assist in developing workflows, automation, and enhancements across the ServiceNow platform. - Contribute to the creation of solution artifacts such as roadmaps, process documentation, and architecture diagrams. - Troubleshoot issues and support fixes, enhancements, and remediation activities. - Support the enhancement and maintenance of existing ServiceNow capabilities as required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree and 0 years of relevant experience, OR 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. - 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience. - Experience working with and/or supporting ServiceNow capabilities. - Experience with scripting, workflows, forms, and ServiceNow development tools. - Ability to work onsite full-time. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with or for federal government clients. - Experience working across multiple parts of the ServiceNow platform. - Knowledge of system architecture concepts. - Hands-on experience supporting IT data integrity and configuration/asset management. - Experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, SQL, XML, JavaScript, Angular, and server-side languages such as Java, .NET, or PHP. - Experience implementing JavaScript to support automation across various modules. - Experience with REST and SOAP protocols and integrating external systems. - Experience with Business Rules, Workflows/Flows, Identification Rules, and Workspaces. - Experience with SAML, Active Directory, and LDAP. - Experience with strategic portfolio management or application portfolio management. - Certifications such as ServiceNow CIS (ITSM, CSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM, SAM, APM), CSA, CAD, ITIL v4 Foundations, or Agile/Scrum certifications.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience, Master's degree with 0 years of experience, or 5+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.

Certifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (preferred). - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred). - One or more CIS certifications preferred (ITSM, CSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM, SAM, APM). - ITIL v4 Foundations (preferred).
